Shroud reached his first 100,000 subscribers on March 10, 2019, and gained another 14,000 the next day. As of July 2021, Shroud has more than 9.4 million followers on Twitch making him 4th most followed on the platform and has more than 6 million subscribers on youtube. In August 2017, Shroud decided to benched himself and shifted to the role of Streamer for Cloud9 until April 2018, when he announced that he was leaving the organization and retiring from the professional CS:GO scene.Īfter retiring from professional play Shroud decided to become a full-time Streamer and Content Creator. Shroud played under Cloud9 as a professional esports player for CS: GO from 2014 to 2017. In the end, Shroud ended up settling with one of the top esports organizations Cloud9.
